Questions
1. General Comments I am disturbed to know it is being considered to stop Ephedra from being marketed. I started using AM300 Diet Supplemment that has Ephedra along with many other helpful herbs 3 years ago. I was pleased too realize a help for my severe allergies, which I had been taking shots for years. I was only supposed to be taking shots for 2 years and would be under control. 15 years later and reaction after reaction and being given adrenalin to counter act the reactions,I finally decided my system had had enough and stopped the night mare. The adrenaline makes you feel like your heart is going to jump out of your chest. From there i went on what ever new meds were prescribed as they only worked for a short period of time before my system became used to them and they failed to be effective. It was my good fortune to realize that the very same supplement I was using for weight loss was also holding off allergy symptoms.Life is so wondeful now thru the summer and early spring. If you ban Ephedra, you will take away the quality of my life. I am an adult and read the warnings on all the drugs I am given. It is my choice to take them or not. I also know that if I purposely abuse them,or act in a manner that will make them react harmfully in my body, I SHOULD BE THE RESPONSIBLE PERSON.For the benefits I see from this product I do not want to see it banned. If you ban this, you have to ban thousands of other drugs on the market with known side effects that have ever been suspect in the death of people using them. I believe the controvercy is in the amount people are using and the amount of excessive physical exertion they are doing. I think a warning is sufficient. Don't penalize all use of ephedra.
