I think the FDA has a duty as a government regulatory agency to not only watch out for its own best interests but those of the people of the USA. To allow coporations more power to advertise because they feel they are not given enough, is a violation of the rights of all the people of this fair country. Said corporations are not entitled to the same first amendment rights as the citizens of this country simply because when the founding fathers envisioned the tenets and laws of this country they did not envision huge conglomerations of businessmen bastardizing and usurping the power from the ordinary people who those laws were made to protect. If the FDA has any desire to maintain a balance of the rights of the individual in this country and to help stop corporate corruption then you will not allow Mr. Troy to slip in any benefits for corporate "commercial speech." Thank you for your time.
