In the same breath, pharmaceutical manufacturers decry attempts to influence their pricing policies stating that price controls would stifle the research and development necessary to bring new and needed products to the marketplace. Which shall it be? I'm very tired of the pharmaceutical manufacturers, their domestic and over-seas pricing discrepancies, and their direct-to-consumer advertising.
