The proposed research on children ages 2-5 is a very bad idea at best. I think that with the information presented by the CDC regarding smallpox, children and the population at large that the risks outweigh the benefits at this time. I wouldn't want children dying of such a horrible disease that has been considered eradicated. As an American citizen I understand the government and the threat of bioterrorism, but just the way research goes, and with a deadly virus, children would end up dying--for a suspicion that the terrorists MAY use smallpox...the terrorist might use something else, so where would we be?
