To Whom it May Concern-As an early childhood professional who regularly conducts developmental evaluations on 3-5 year old children I consider it inhumane and unethical to expose a group of our youngest citizens to trials of a risky smallpox vaccine. There continue to be unresolved questions about how early and how often certain vaccinations should be given to young children,and about the effects of the various vaccine compounds on the development of the brain and central nervous system. It has been suggested that live virus contained in the MMR vaccine may be responsible for gastrointestinal deterioration in some young children.
