We are producing Tamarind pulp ( 24°Brix), pasteurized. We have a process of manual screening, shelling and sorting of tamarind fruits. However, filth presence can not be avioded. Main cause is harvesting practices in Mexican fields. Even we fumigate and take care of storage conditions, we have not succeed in avoiding filth. ¿What are the levels allowed by FDA in this product? We couldn´t find any information recently published. It seems that the corresponding web page is not updated.
