It is my understanding that the sale of embryos to ECU (Europe) have been banned do to the feeding of mammal by-products in this country. This has a very negative impact on our financial situation. We are dairy farmers who have been instumental in investing in and selling Registered Holstein genetics to many different countries of Europe. As an example: The country of France imports about 1000 embryos per year at about $1000.00/embryo ($1,000,000.00)..not of an expense for a country. However, of those 1000 embryos imported, our farm supplies about 50 or ($50,000) which is a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY to us and needed to make all our commitments. We need to have some serious talks to get this problem resolved. I only hope you will be able to. Thank you very much for your time.
