The statement by NTSB indicating prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs causing or contributing to an operators impaired alertness and performance maybe an oversight to primary symptoms related to sleep debt/sleep deprvation. This means that accidents related to performance and/or drugs, sleep deprivation,caused by sleep apnea, may play an important role.
