I do not think that they should be marketed without first careful study and testing. I am also concerned about the ability for GE plants to remain within boundaries and I am wary about the possibility of cross pollination which could create very hazardous consequences to the environment and those that depend on the stability of thee environment. Without knowing the implications I think it is foolish to forge ahead into this potentially hazardous technology. If foods are to be genetically engineered, I feel it is my right to choose if I want to support that industry, therefore, I need to have these products labeled. The forces of the market should be for what an educated populace demands- I want to chose what I eat and know how it is produced. Sincerely, Lynda Liptak
