Subject: Frankenstein Foods

My husband and I have been avid supporters and consumers of organic and "range free," products for the last 9 years.  It was very important to us that our children not be exposed to the chemicals left in foods that were grown with herbicides, hormones etc.  But now what is even more frightening to us is that our children are being unknowingly exposed to Genetically Engineered foods!  
 
We strongly urge the FDA to require mandatory pre-market safety testing, pre-market environmental review and Most Importantly...Mandatory labeling of GE foods and products containing GE food/products.  We choose to be informed consumers and have the right to know what we are feeding ourselves and our children!
 
We just recently purchased a product which was later recalled because it contained a GMO corn product which was, "unfit for human consumption."  But by the time the recall happened we had already consumed the product!  We are disgusted with the lack of control and information that the FDA has when it comes to GE & GMO products!   Please take heed and listen to our plea as consumers and human beings!!
