Dear Friends,
        This e-mail is to express my concern over Genetically Engineered and Modified Products being introduced into our consumer society.  Recent and on-going happenings in England and other parts of Europe demonstrate what a small planet we have become and how disease and dis-ease are easily spread -and QUICKLY as well in this age of travel and globalization.  We have heard of Terminator seeds and their devastation to small farmers in developing countries.  I join with thousands of other Americans, and people concerned around the world, to BEG OF YOU:
    a.. FDA must require mandatory pre-market comprehensive environmental review of products; 
    b.. FDA must require mandatory pre-market long-term health testing of any and all Genetically Engineered or Modified products, because of possible long-term health effects on people, animals, vegetation, the water supply, Earth itself! 
    c.. FDA must require mandatory labelling of all Genetically Engineered and Modified products.  This is a basic need and MINIMAL requirement, which we have come to expect from the FDA. 
    d.. FDA must end its biased relationship with industries it purports to be regulating.
        Thank you for reading this and considering my requests.  I am truly concerned about our future in a world so 'bought' by businesses who cannot think beyond their bottom lines.
