I am very saddened that the FDA is failing to provide the clearly
necessary safety measures that the American people request. Genetically
modified organisms in food chain need be labelled and the labelling
should be mandatory and not voluntary.
In view of objective research on the hazards of GMOs by the US as well
as the rest of the wolrd, it is embarassing to me see again and again
how ineffective and industry-influenced  FDA is.  I have watched your
work on GMOs  for a few years now and I am simply appalled.
