This letter is to let you know that I firmly believe all genetically 
engineered food should be both TESTED & LABELLED.  You are the agency who 
has been appointed to ensure the safety of the products manufactured for 
public consumption.  How can you ingore the consequences of what all this 
mad rush to engineer the genetic pool of foods may and can do to the 
consumers?

There have been headline stories about children reaching puberty at the age 
of five in the news.  This obviously has come about because of all the 
hormones given to the live animals who are later sold for the meat products 
and the cows whose milk ends up on our store shelves.

Genetically engineered products may change the genes of the consumer and 
before any of these foods are allowed on the market they should have been 
thoroughly tested.  If allowed on the shelves of our supermarkets these 
products should be CLEARLY labelled.
