To Whom It May Concern at US FDA,

I am writing to you in order to show my support for Docket # 98P-0151/CP1.  I want to commend the USDA for no longer accepting ground beef that includes product from downed animals.  I also hope that the USDA (FDA) will prohibit the slaughter of downed animals all together.  The goal of these measures, of course, is to prevent the inhumane treatment of these animals.  Hopefully the conditions that cause these animals to be injured or ill in the first place will be eliminated and those that do suffer injury or illness will be euthanized humanely.
