To whom it may concern,
I am writing to express my utmost agreement with docket 98P-0151/CP1.  I 
urge you to support it, I believe it will be a huge step towards ending 
animal cruelty.  I truly believe (as cheesy as it may sound)that if we all 
do our part a difference will be made, and this a wonderful opportunity for 
your organization to truly make a difference. I know your organization has 
done other wonderful things, and I ask that you take  the contents of docket 
98P-0151/CP1 regarding banning the slaughter of non-ambulatory meat.  If 
this ban were in effect it would give meat industry owners more of an 
incentive to prevent "downed" animals from occurring through better 
treatment of livestock.  It would also encourage the euthanizing of downed 
animals.  I feel so strongly that this is the right thing to do.  I ask that 
you take it into consideration and help to make a change for the better in 
our lifetime.
