I am hopeful that the comments sent to the FDA concerning genetically
engineered food will be included in the decision making process.  I also
note that the deadline for comments is April 3.  It would be a positive
step if the comments for and against were publicized.

May I add that the evidence against eating genetically engineered food
is overwhelming.  Furthermore, farmers know full well that exports of GE
food are practically verboten.  Therefore, that leaves the public of the
United States as the only market open to these foods, although I really
feel that since the nutritional value is debatable, food may not be the
proper term.

Please count my vote against genetically engineered food, and please
publicize the results of all comments received.  Thank you.
