Subject: Proposes rules for Genetically Engineered foods

Dear FDA,

I don't expect you to listen to one consumer in the face of overwhelming lobbying by the food industry, but the new rules relaxing the regulation of genetically engineered foods is simply unconsionable.  I had to write and tell you that you will be held responsible in the court of public opinion on this matter.  Bottom line: don't let the food industry (which you are apparently in the hip pocket of) dictate to you what is safe or not safe for human consumption.  Genetically Engineered food is a ticking time bomb that will explode in your faces.
