Dearest FDA,
 
I want to thank you for completely ignoring, avoiding, snubbing, 
 downplaying, overlooking, and disregarding the massive amount of 
justified public concern that is focused on the issue of genetically 
modified foods. 

I commend you in your new rules and guidelines for GE foods. I think it's 
wonderful that you, as a(hurrumph) "regulatory" agency created to serve 
the public might devolve to where you 1. Don't "regulate" and 2. Don't 
give a damn for the public that you...umm, serve. Your newest "regulatory" 
proposal for genetically engineered foods is, I must say, right in step 
with past FDA "regulatory" decisions which have basically allowed for 
corporations to do the job the American public for some reason thought you 
were there to do.

And really, what's so important about testing and labeling any way, right? 
It's getting to where the public wants not only to bake the cake and eat 
it too, but now they want to know if the damned cake is going to kill them 
or not. 

Yes, between the FDA and the Beorge Gush administration I can feel assured 
that there's absolutely nothing more I need to know; it's just business as 
usual.

Now, if you'll excuse me it's lunchtime here. My son needs his daily 
Flinstone aspartame vitamins, and then I'll probably fix him some nice 
Starlink nachos and a tall glass of bovine death milk.
