I am writing in response to your acceptance of public
comment on the proposed new rules on genetically
engineered (GE) foods.

Your refusal to test the safety of what is consumed by
US Citizens and to allow them to be unaware of what
they are consuming is a major abuse of the powers
afforded to you by the American people.  The purpose
of your administration is to look out for that which
will harm the health of the American people and the
rules which you have proposed do exactly the opposite.
 They imply a major conflict of interest.

I sincerely hope the you reevaluate your position on
GE food and the affect they will have on the health of
the American population.  Remember, that as part of
this population, none of you are immune to the rules
which you put into place.
