Dear Sir,

I am writing to express my deep concern over the health hazards of 
genetically engineered foods.  As a physician, I am well aware of the 
environmental contribution to cancer and many chronic disorders. GE food is 
too new and untested in humans and in the ecosystem to unleash these products 
for consumption by the public.  Also, the health effects over the next 
decades of integrating this genetically altered material into our food supply 
and into the ecosystem at large may prove devastating and extremely difficult 
to rectify.

Please require that GE foods be labeled as such. It is an outrage that the 
genetic naturalness of our food is being kept secret in an effort to sell 
more of these potentially dangerous foods and make more money for big 
companies.  The FDA must protect the health of the people of this country. At 
the very least, those people who wish to chose to eat genetically 
nonengineered foods should have the ability to do so.

PLEASE REQUIRE THE LABELING OF GE FOODS TO ALLOW THE US PEOPLE TO PROTECT 
THEMSELVES FROM THESE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS FOODS!!!!
