Subject: Mandatory Labelling of Genetically Engineered Foods.
Dear Sirs, 
The unlabelled introduction of genetically engineered foods causes more 
serious consequenses than the death of thousands of monarch butterflies (from 
the modified corn flower, or tassels). Genetically engineered crops, whose 
pollens are carried by wind and bees etc., pollute so called normal crops and 
can cause severe allergic reactions when non-allergenic foods which are 
spliced with common allergic or offensive genes are unknowingly consumed by 
allergy prone individuals. 
therefore to avoid these consequences which may include death or paralysis , 
it is necessary to at least require mandatory, if not to ban outright this 
unsafe practice! 
There are also Muslims , Jews and other persons who are driven by "higher 
authorities" to consume "pure" foods. These people (including the American 
Public) 
should have an "inalienable right" to know what they are purchasing. 
We need to strengthen and clarify our labelling laws or we may all be eating 
sewage sludge labelled organically produced, if agri-buisness has it's way.
