I urgently request the FDA, as the federal agency most responsible
for the purity and nutritious value of the foods available to me, to require
the following on genetically engineered  (GE) foods:

Mandatory pre-market comprehensive environmental review.

Mandatory pre-market long-term health testing.

Mandatory labeling of GE products.

Finally, I believe that the FDA should be more removed from
the industries you purport to be regulating. Public law should
prevent people being allowed to work for a biotech company,
then work for the FDA writing the regulatory rules on that
company's product, then go back to working for the company.
That's the worst kind of malfeasance, I believe.
