The foods should be labeled so that consumers have a choice. The free market cannot function if information about products is kept from the end users. It is the height of hypocrasy for large corporations to work tirelessly to loosen government regulation of products, including food, and then to prevent the buying public from obtaining the knowledge required to make informed choices.
