It is are right and the FDA's duty to the consumer to know what they're putting in there body. Whether or not it's good or bad, there should be a label. If the FDA makes it mandatory to show the ingridients and nutritional label for consumers so they can decide whether or not to consume it, then there should be no question regarding this. THE LABELING OF GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOODS IS A MUST!!!!! If you disliked garlic, or were allergic to peanuts, you would want to be able to check to see if those things were in it, wouldn't you? Inlucding them in labeling doesn't mean that any of those foods dangerous. They could easily be labeled: Ingredients: Water, salt, GMO(genetically modified)corn, basil,GMO soy beans, guar gum. (that's no different than a organic foods label) ingredients: Certified organic corn, salt, water. Or This product was made with certified organic ingredients or This product was made with Gentically Modified Foods or This product conatins Genetically Modified Foods. It's as simple as that. None of those sound like warnings. Thank you, Strong supporter of mandatory labeling, and long term testing of Genetically modified foods.
