Dear FDA Review Committee:

I would like to express my concern over the lack of scientific data supporting the safery of gentically engineered food. I would hope that the FDA as a protective regulatory body would require that ALL genetically engineered foods and foods containing genetically engineered food products be clearly labeled so that consumers could make intelligent and thoughtful choices as to how much risk they are willing to undertake. Therefore, I hope that the FDA will require long term safety studies of genetically engineered food as well as require mandatory labeling of all genetically engineered food products.
