     Hello,  I would like to voice my opinion about the proposed rules on genetically engineered food products.  First I can't help but think this is being pushed about the same as Tobacco was without regard fro US......the consumers that not only support your agency but depend on you to act on OUR behalf not the industries that will benefit.
I think mandatory labeling of GE foods & products is at the very least a courtesy to the consumer just as the dietary content labels are.  The consumer should at a minimum have the right to decide whether they object to these products after they themselves read and learn more about them.
    
    Please show the consumers the respect and courtesy they/we deserve and let us atleast KNOW what is in our foods!
