Dear Sirs and Madames,

I have read the draft guidelines for voluntary labeling of 
genetically modified foods, and , while I see that you have legal 
justification for your proposed guidelines, I don't see how you can 
promote this step and represent the good of the American people, 
which surely is above legal and financial justification.

I am gravely concerned about the dangers to the health of ourselves, 
our planet, and our future generations that exist in what has been, 
and now, with voluntary labeling, will continue to be, the 
unregulated addition of genetically modified plants, animals and 
foods to the bio-stream of our lovely planet.

Please, as representatives of the most powerful government on Earth, 
do not give in to the shortsighted needs of a few wealthy entities. 
Please consider us, the millions of citizens you were established to 
protect, and do NOT put these useless guidelines in place.
