GMO foods are a mystery to everyone and are historically not well tested. GMO technology only a way for the Biotech/agri-business industry to make more money while ripping off farmers, and giving us fish genes in our strawberries, while bribing doctors and professors with "grants" to lie for them or release "studies" for them, or to issue "scientific" studies in "proffessional" journals for them!!!??? What is going on here? GMO foods must be labeled. Don't GMO foods haven patents protecting them and stating that they are different from normal foods, so that must mean that there is something "special" about them? And if there is something special about them, how come the Biotech industries don't want to tell US what is so special about them, are they afraid of telling us, might there be something to hide? The Biotech industry's non-compliance with labeling is screaming out the fact that there is a huge problem here, and right now the federal govenrment is just opening doors and bowing to these Biotech Franskenstein-esque ideas. It seems that right now, the people running this country and the ones who institue policy DO NOT represent the wants and desires and the voices of the poeple of this country. I would like this to change. The FDA must force these evil industries to comply and must step up and take some charge because if they do not, then the FDA will no longer represent the plea of the poeple, and will stand for nothing. Currently tobacco and alcoholic beverages are labeled with warnings, so it is not as if labeling foods with warnings is some "revolutionary" idea. And wasn't it the tobacco industry that claimed their products were safe and to not worry about it. We have seen the effect of that mistake, let's not make another. Please fight for consumer's rights that all GMO foods be labaled as such.
