To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to express my concern with the proposed rules governing 
genetically modified foods. From what I've read they don't do enough to 
provide consumers with the information they deserve. If people are expected 
to spend money on genetically modified foods and products, they have a right 
to know what it is they are buying. I am also concerned with the weak rules 
regarding testing of genentically modified foods and products. The safety of 
these products are important. Consumers should not have to find out when it 
is too late that their food is not safe. Consumer safety should be first 
priority when developing guidelines for food producers and companies to 
follow.
