I am writing in support of the petition referenced above.
I have severe reactions and breathing problems upon exposure to many
fragranced products and chemicals.  Going into public places has become
hazardous because of so many toxic perfumes, cleaners and pesticides.
Most people believe that "if it wasn't safe - the government would let
it be on the market" which is exactly the way it SHOULD be.  Put the
burden of proof where it should be - on the ones profiting from the sale
of these products rather than on the individuals becoming ill from
exposure to these products.
Please require that each ingredient be proven safe before it can be
included in products. Also, please require that ALL ingredients be
listed on EVERY product and that warnings be noted for ANY ingredient
not proven safe.
