We are, in effect, experimenting on ourselves and our children. Besides the potential hazardous effects to the environment and to animals and humans, it seems that our farmers may be adversely effected economically since many foreign countries are even more concerned about this use of technology with out long term testing and are refusing to buy our farmers' products. I encourage you to use your power and position to make sure that our food supply either is not subjected to genetic alteration or, at the very least, that we, the consumers, are told by clear package labeling which foods contain genetically engineered components. Thank you. Sincerely, Patricia Briones __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Auctions - Buy the things you want at great prices. http://auctions.yahoo.com/
