The proposed set of rules do not require mandatory safety testing of GM products before they can be sold. They do not require an environmental review of such crops or products. They don't require labeling of GM foods. They appear to actually limit voluntary labeling of non-GM foods . They require nothing more than a letter of notification prior to the marketing of a GM food. I hope you will put the safety and environmental concerns of the American over the greedy concerns of global agribusinesses. In recent polls 80 - 95% of the American public said they want mandatory labeling and safety testing of all GM foods and ingredients. Please remember that the FDA is meant to safeguard American consumers from monsters like 'Frankinfoods'. Sincerely, Ann Ogle 701 Montgomery Avenue Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
