I am a concerned citizen in regards to the matter of bio-engineered food. GE foods have been shown to be a threat to our environment, and as a result a threat to the human species. These foods should be under the strictest of regulation and a mandatory moratorium should be imposed until these redsigned foods are proven to be safe. I want these foods to be labeled so that I can make informed consumer decisions. I also want to voice my concern that these foods be safety tested and independently verified.
