I do not feel that the proposed rules are sufficient to ensure that I, as a consumer, can rely on full disclosure about the content, nature of genetically engineered foods.
The proposed rules favor the interests of corporate agriculture and the biotechnology industry over the public's right to know about and choose products with acceptable ingredients.
I ask that the FDA require precautionary testing and strict regulation of genetically engineered products to prevent harm to human health and the environment.
