You have the chance to make this a more humane world. I hope you will use it because: a.. Downed animals are animals who are too sick even to stand, and so, pose a health threat and should not be allowed to enter the human food chain. b.. It's impossible to moved downed animals humanely. Typically, they are pushed with tractors or dragged with chains. c.. Downed animals comprise a very small percentage of animals slaughtered and prohibiting their marketing will cause no undue economic hardship. Thank you. Elizabeth Keating.
