Commissioner Henney, 

    I am very concerned and disappointed with the FDAs new policy regarding 
GE foods, it is simply unacceptable.  I am a mother of a young child and do 
not care for him to be the governments lab animal!!!!!  If you do not care to 
test the effects of GE foods prior to introducing to the food supply you 
could at least have the decency to give the average American to choice of 
what to feed their family and label the GE foods as such.  I sincerely hope 
you take care of this problem before it gets too far out of hand.  Please 
listen to the American public instead of corporate America with all of their 
money!!!!  After all the average person is the ones who will be affected by 
your decision most!!!  I would like you to respond to my letter with you 
decision and if you do not feel it important to label our food give a good 
reason why! (not how you feel it is safe)
