US Food and Drug Administration Dockets Management Branch: 
As a member of Farm Sanctuary in Phoenix, Arizona, I urge the FDA to grant petition 98P-0151/CP1 to prohibit the slaughter of downed animals for human food, as we all know the slaughter of downed animals can be serious health threat for human consumption. And I believe that there should be laws regarding that downed animals be given treatment and care for their suffering condition, not just be left sick and disabled to die a slow agonizing death. It's time to change the laws to help give to these animals that provide essential food for us. Thanks for your time and God Bless. Barbara Perez
