As the recent Taco Bell episode illustrates, it's becoming increasingly difficult to control the uses, and misuses, of genetically engineered food products. The American people are not guinea pigs to be used, without their knowledge or consent, for some vast laboratory experiment to determine more profitable ways to produce food. I am a member of the Park Slope Food Co op in Brooklyn, NY, a 6,000 member organization devoted to bringing safe, healthy food to the community. I'm also on the New York Board of Directors of the Graphic Artists Guild, a nationwide union of graphic artists affiliated with the United Auto Workers. I intend to alert these groups, and as many other people as I can, to this risky and dangerous situation regarding our food supply. Sincerely, Jamie Fogle
