Your proposed rule regarding giving notice for bioengineered foods is much too weak. It favors corporate biotech interests to the detriment of the individual citizen. The burden of labeling should not rest on those producers that have no bioengineered ingredients; rather, the burden of labeling should fall upon those producers that do introduce bioengineered ingredients into their products.
