It has come to my attention that we may finally be able to end purchasing downed animal meat. These animals are often so sick that they can't stand, yet they are dragged or pushed by tractors which cause more injuries and suffering. Even if you eat meat, you should know that eating meat from a sick animal can cause sickness in humans. These animals should not have to suffer more than they already do, and people should not be eating sick animal meat anyway. This is a small part of all animals slaughtered, and putting an end to it will not cause any economic hardship, and will certainly end some suffering. Thanks. Carol Poynter, Chicago, IL.
