To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to request your support for the above mentioned petition, which 
would prohibit the slaughter of downed animals.  This processes is so purely 
cruel as well as the fact that it presents humans who eat this meat with more 
risk of contamination.  With all of the problems that have occured in England 
and other countries due to contaminated meat, I would hope that we in the US 
would take all possible measures to stop such an epidemic here.
