Subject: Docket Number 989-0151/CP1 Downed Animals
I am writing to request your support for the petition filed by the Farm 
Sanctuary prohibiting the slaughter of downed animals.  For all the agonizing 
pain and suffering many of these unfortunate animals are forced to endure 
during their transfer for slaughter is not worth the small amount of dollars 
to be made from their slaughter.  Some things have to be worth more than 
money, and I believe putting these animals through anymore pain and suffering 
for the sake of an extra few dollars is one of them.  Please show the Food 
and Drug Administration has humane standards by honoring my request for your 
support of this petition.
