Dear Dr. Henney,

I am writing in support of Petition 99P-0485, which asks that
antibiotics approved for humans not be allowed for treating farm
animals.  Many people are concerned about the possibility that
overuse of these drugs might help breed stronger, more resistant
disease bacteria.  Therefore, it would seem to make sense to use
these drugs only for those for whom they were developed and who
have the best claim to them:  namely, human beings.
