Subject: FDA decision Jan. l7 on Gg.E. foods

Many people, including myself, are unhappy with the FDA decision on
genetically engineered food products that  does not require these
products to be labeled, and are not required to be tested for
safety..........                            . Foods are as important as
medicilne whlich are required to be tested.
The artificially  changed plants scare me; I don't mind hybrild
varieties. but the companies doing the genetic changes  in some
instances have added genes from other species  is done to make money for
the companies; ilf they had tested  them for a few years, I "d think
differently, but they were marketed  quickly...Then these companies try
to force their new crops on nations in Europe and Asia that denounced
them and forbade theilr sale...........I hate the idea that varieties of
plants are beilng stored by corporatilons so they have control.
