Subject: What's in your food? (FDA Dockets 00N-1396 and 00D-1598)


Dear Corporate and Government Leaders,

Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 

1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 

2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 

3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm.

Also, the public has a right to know about the harmful effects of bovine growth hormones contained in milk and dairy products and the horrific results seen today in the early onset of puberty...specifically the fact that some toddlers--yes toddlers--are experiencing puberty and other ill effects at alarming rates.  If you claim you did not know, NOW YOU DO.  The issue is now in your hands so please do the right thing.
