    Please add my voice to those of reason asking ( make that demanding ),
that downed animals not be used for slaughter and human consumption.

    How could you possibly call yourselves the Food and Drug Administration
and allow a diseased or injured animal to be used for human food?

    I'm confident if you could just once see a downed animal, you would not
want it to end up in your own child's sandwich.  Please use the power of the
FDA to stop this disgusting, and dangerous practice.

    I would like very much to be informed of your decision on this matter.
