To Whom it May Concern,
     I just read an article about ending the inhumane treatment of downed 
animals and I understand that docket number 98p-0151/cp1 is under review.  I 
am urging that the FDA prohibit the slaughter of downed animals.  It is cruel 
and only adds to their suffering!  Please consider this when reviewing the 
petition.  Thank you for your time.
