FDA Commissioner Food and Drug Administration 5630 Fishers Lane Room 1061 (HFA-305) Rockville, MD 20852 RE: Docket No. 98P-1194 Dear FDA: Please withdraw your approval of bovine growth hormone (rBGH) (also known as rBST or Posilac®). I am concerned about human health problems from the use of BST, and also about the cruelty to animals that follows its use. This is an unnecessary evil benefiting no one but the drug producers-- though, if one believes, as I do, that we reap what we sow, then it would be a great favor even to these companies to withdraw approval.
