FDA Commissioner Food and Drug Administration 5630 Fishers Lane Room 1061 (HFA-305) Rockville, MD 20852 RE: Docket No. 98P-1194 Dear FDA: I think that Monsanto paid off the FDA to get Bovine Growth Hormone approved. In addition, if we didn't have such a strong consumers group in New York state, Monsanto would have gotten away with no labeling of products from cows treated with this hormone. And they pressure the farmers to use their product. They have the same conscience as the tobacco companies. I don't like more pus in the milk I drink and I don't want any slow-growing cancers in my body to be accelerated. Please stop catering to the money the big chemical companies are throwing around. They don't care how many people they hurt as long as they can make a profit. Your government agency should care more about the people.
