Please prohibit the slaughter of downed animals.  It is horribly cruel (not
to mention unhealthy) to profit from the sick and injured among livestock.
Downed animals are routinely beaten into movement, prodded, left for dead,
etc.  Generally treated horribly!

I ask that you please support this petition and allow animals the kindness
that they deserve.
